Board Infinity is a ‘Restart Button’ to my career as a Software Engineer

1. Early Career Journey
My name is Sameer Gujrati. I hail from Varanasi.
Having completed my B. Tech in Computer Science from Maharishi Markandeshwar University (Haryana) in 2020, I started working as a web developer at a start-up.
However, 2020 wasn't the luckiest year for me as due to the pandemic, I had to let go of my first job. I was highly demotivated as finding another job during the time of business failures and shutdown was extremely challenging for me. Due to my inexperience, no good organization was ready to offer me a job.
As a result, I decided to look for jobs in industries other than software development. In the meantime, I worked as a Customer Service Advisor at Concentric Daksh until I returned to work as a Software Engineer.
During my search for upskilling opportunities, I stumbled across Board Infinity's Full Stack Development Course. It was the best decision for me since the technologies had become advanced and to find a good job in my field, I needed to develop knowledge of relevant technologies.
2. Journey with Board Infinity
Without thinking twice, I enrolled in the Full Stack Development Course with Board Infinity. This course helped me develop relevant skills and also helped me enhance my profile as a software professional with the help of various projects and assignments to include on my resume.
These projects were a great help in helping me develop my hands-on skills.
Along with this, my program manager also helped me by building my confidence to face interviews by organizing several mock interviews and 1-on-1 sessions with coaches. I religiously followed everything my coaches guided me through and were sincere throughout my course.
3. Placement Journey
I won't lie. At first, I did face some rejections but as Albert Einstein has said, "You never fail until you stop trying", I kept trying to get better and learn from my rejections.
My coaches guided me well through these times, and I was ready again to face the interviews. I interviewed for the position of Junior Software Developer at Cateina Technologies and thankfully got through. Thanks to Board Infinity for always supporting me.
Through my career journey, I have learned that every failure brings you a new opportunity for you to try and be successful. I have learned this from my father and it has worked for me.
My advice to people like me seeking to advance their career is that - Today it's a failure tomorrow it will be a success.
Along with self-study based on guidance from the coaches, working on projects is extremely important. You should start with working on HTML and CSS projects and then proceed to JavaScript.
Only regular practice can help you become an expert on your subject. No interview is tough. You can crack any interview if you prepare well.
